In the course of globalization and the sometimes dynamic international security situation, the security of goods movements in international trade is becoming increasingly important. The AEO status certifies companies with regard to their reliability and security in international trade. Obtaining the AEO certificate accelerates customs clearance on both the import and export sides, due to reduced controls and preferential customs treatment. It also facilitates access to further customs simplifications.

Approval as an AEO is subject to extensive requirements. Within the scope of the certification of Lipsticks GmbH as AEO C, among other things, the solvency, the reliable bookkeeping, the compliance with customs regulations and the safety and quality management were examined.
